Jay Lyman is a Supervising Librarian in the CEED (Community Engagement and Economic Development) group
with The Seattle Public Library. Jay leads the SPL's Library to Business program which helps people find
and discover the information, skills, and connections they need to succeed in business. Jay and team
empower entrepreneurs and nonprofits at every stage with skill building workshops, access to market
data, and connections to other community experts that help in many different ways. He has organized a
number of programs which help small businesses use technology to market and deliver services and
products to their customers.

Maureen Ricks Wildish is an Adult Services Librarian at the University Place Pierce County Library. She
supports local small businesses by offering individual reference appointments, organizing programs and
workshops, and providing training on the library's many resources. She enjoys working with entrepreneurs
to help start or grow their businesses. In her free time, you can find Maureen reading, crafting, and
caring for her three goats.
